Monday: Notes on author, read "The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant" on page 293 no homework!
Tuesday: fill in comparison chart for the new story, turn in at the end of the period. Homework: complete a chart or Venn diagram comparing and contrasting the two stories.
Wednesday: Comparing universal themes, talk about writing a comparison/contrast paper. homework: essay due tomorrow
Thursday: work on comparison/contrast essay-- homework: review vocabulary words for test tomorrow
Friday: Vocabulary test homework: two words and definitions of words using the prefix omni- (due next Friday)

This week is make up week! Turn in ANY missing work for a possibility of FULL credit! Due by 4pm on Friday!

Monday: Review for test -- get review packet in class (due tomorrow)
Tuesday: Test day-- hand out extra credit story with activity -- due Friday
Wednesday: PSAT for 1-3rd period -- 4th -7th period will spend the day making up missing assignments
Thursday: Go over test Homework: 2 words/definitions containing the root "biblio"
Friday: Vocabulary Day-- come up with vocabulary list for test next Friday
