Wednesday: Begin writing workshop: Autobiographical essay -- students choose a memorable life event and write an essay about how that event had an impact on their life.

Thursday: Continue working on essay -- peer edit --
-homework: have someone look over your essay; study vocabulary list 1 and 2
Friday: Vocabulary Review Test (over lists 1 and 2) -- finish up essays

Monday IC: finish up story from Friday, suspense activity, handout voc list 2
HW: actually the homework from last Friday. We ran out of time in class – suspense story or alternate ending to story we read in class
Tuesday IC: notes on flashbacks and author, read “The Leap” (pg 43)
HW: questions 6 and 8 at the end of the story
